This Week's Artist Spotlight: Breaking Benjamin
206.jpgBreaking Benjamin is a rock band based out of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Ben Burnley & company have come a long way since they released their first album, Saturate, in 2002. They achieved commercial success with the release of their second album, We Are Not Alone, which spawned a pair of hit singles, "So Cold" and "Sooner or Later." Their success continued to grow as "Breath" became the first single by the band to reach #1 on Billboard's rock chart in 2007. Breaking Benjamin released Dear Agony, their fourth album, in September 2009. "I Will Not Bow" was released in the summer as the album's first single and in addition to appearing on the Surrogates soundtrack, it is their best charting song to-date.

Breaking Benjamin has done extensive touring with fellow rockers, Three Days Grace, including a co-headlining tour earlier this year. Currently, they are co-headlining with Chevelle and can be seen (with Red and Thousand Foot Krutch as well) at the Main Street Armory in Rochester on Monday, March 15 or at Memorial Auditorium in Utica on Tuesday, March 16.

Latest Single: Give Me a Sign (Forever & Ever)

Other songs to check out: I Will Not Bow, Breath, The Diary of Jane, Sooner or Later, So Cold, Polyamorous
